Basically I just want some reviews off people that have had their vtr remmaped after mods such as cam, full exhaust, induction kits.
I have had mine cammed recently and very happy with the gains, tickover is amamazing, no lumpy idle running standard map and pulley advanced 1/2 a degree,
I want to know if its worth forking out the extra money for a map, and what would I see from it? Cheers in advance tom :d

remap will see the gains from a cam pulled together, if you cammed it, you may aswel map it
but tbh cams in a vtr even with a map arent worth the money..but since youve made the effort you mayaswell do it..

Well I got the cam pretty cheap with the pulley +got a whole vtr engine cheap as chips so fitted the head on spare engine with cam, then swapped heads so it was quite cheap all in all, as I was struggling to find a decent cheap 3plug vts engine.
Would the map just give me smoother power delivery and a bit more power/torque?? pulls very well straight to red line now but I feel it could go that bit further, and would like it to pull better at low revs?

pal, im sure if you remapped it now yes it would give it that extra grunt, cuz you'v cammed it you'll get another 8-10bhp im sure with a remap and those engine mods. it'll be a quick rocket then pal.
