It's a halfords HOF298. . Yeah, it's dead at work and I'm bored. ;)

It's the cartridge filter.

Excellant, looks to be the same filter as my 205 gti ( i have several of these in the garage ) what is the best oil to use on my little 1.1 please ?

5w-40 fully synthetic

For oil, use 10w40 semi

There is no point using fully with that engine,might as well save money.

Was the other filter i listed just the paper element? Do i need to change this as well?

Go for the second link, comes with new rubber gasket ect.

change both at the some time.
