Hi guys,

Just wondering, how much MPG (approximately) should I expect from a VTR?

Also, what would it be for a VTS out of interest?

Cheers :)

I get roughly 40mpg from my VTR (no mods). More if on a long motorway run etc.

Depends how you drive! You'll get less mpg when the weather's cold as well.

35 if your heavey footed and 40-45 if you drive sensibly.

A vts maybe 10% less I would say

My old VTR used to get 50mpg on a run of 200 motorway miles! then i used to get like 45 round town and 38 if heavy footed. In my vts with a saxsport and induction i got 45 on a 200 motorway miles run and i get like 36 heavy footed and 40 round town!

would recommend using Shell fuel even if it is slightly more expensive seems to last a lot longer than supermarket stuff and you will notice it
standard mk2 vtr 50mpg

I get about 39 mpg but do mainly motorway driving. That's combined giving it beans and driving sensible... Ish

02 VTR - Standard - 35.8 in average (mainly commuting with short journeys morning and evening). Up to 45 on the motorway. I've switched total excellium (97) instead of supermarket petrol recently and the engine seems to run more smoothly and the consumption is slightly improved as well.
As daveyh86 I would say I do 300 to 400 miles with a full tank depending on driving style.

.

thats cause the supermarket fuel is full of additives wich reduce the octain rating. fuel from texaco, jet, esso ect are better even for std unleaded
