Mk1 1.1 backbox

Will any cheap backbox fit these as Ebay has different codes for each model Cant see any for 1.1 just 1.0/1/4/ etc + different production dates but the backboxes all look identical and interchangable.

Are they all just universal fit with an olive clamp ?

also

Anyone got any tips for a good olive clamp seal (centre pipe to backbox) as they always end up leaking /blowing whenever I've tried to connect them.

i have a standard one off a 1.4. pretty sure they are interchangable. they use the same clamp and there is alot of room for movement along the bracket.

Yeah I think that they're all pretty much all the same for mk1's

Ordered one today ,£34 off ebay.

If you wanted i had a vtr one, done about 10k but still in one piece and would have been dirt cheap

Aye could have got one cheaper on the forums but reckon £34 brand new including delivery and a new clamp aint too bad.

Mot runs out tomorrow so need to get sorted asap (usually do buy second hand , good bargains on here)
