SKF for the tensioner, idler etc, Gates is a good belt and thats what youll get in the SKF kit. Ive used Dayco belts before, USA made and never had a problem.

With water pumps I dont use QH anymore, my local Citroen specialist stocks Valeo OE water pumps for less than many other shit brands, £28.

So you would say then SKF is a good kit just as good as a gates cambelt kit?

The waterpump people say VGA and firstline are decent.

AFAIR, Gates kit uses SKF bearings, so its the same thing. Either one will be really good though.

Look at the waterpump before you buy if you can, there was an impeller revision; the newer of the two looks more like an impeller than the other, which looks like it would just flail the water about.

Right well seems pointless paying extra for gates cambelt kit then :s. SKF kit it is can get one for £24inc from work. I will ask about the waterpumps cheers for that
