My car seems to be horrendous on fuel consumption, i full tanked her friday, and im already down to about 4/5's of a tank!
I know im 19 and have a very heavy right foot :P
But i dont even rag it everywhere, most of the time, i just cba lol!
Anyway ideas waht this could be?
Thanks

what sort of mileage are you getting on the 1/5 of a tank, you could have done 85 miles since friday and that would be good for city driving :y:

The fuel gauge is extremely inaccurate on mine, brim it and make a note of the mielage, see how many miles you get till the red light comes on. That's about 9 gallons, from that you can work out your mpg. I get about 28-33 around town and 40 ish on a long run. That's in a cammed vts
Edit: I also get 100 miles on £20, that's about 30 mpg at the price of fuel round here.

not too bad really. got 235 miles to 3/4 of a tank or £40 (tank were pretty empty)
that works out at 35.5 mpg and this month i just put my new kam racing exhaust so errr yeh holding onto revs a little longer than i would normally do . all town driving btw

I get 135 miles to £20 in the VTS and that's a combo of city and motorway driving, with a heavyish foot.
Give the car a full service if it hasn't been done recently
