two questions

1- did you have to modify your engine mount to fit the jenvey one or have to fit them in a sepcial way? as my engine mount is really in the way i cant get the bodies flush to the head

2- where do you mount the IAT sensor if your running no filter?

thanks

Surely the inlet bolts straight on? Any pic you can post up?

I put mine on the bulkhead near the end of the trumpets

i wish it did! lol my housemate is a bit stumped as well and he works at pug1off so its not like im being special lol they were removed off a 106 gti so must fit, i think were gonna jack the engine up, remove the mount fit the bodies and then reattach the mount and hopefully it'll all clear each other, if were still having problems tomorrow ill get pics up

did you make a bracket for your iat sensor?

You must have the same bodies I used. Can remember the inlet brand though..

Just file the mount down.it has ridges iirc I filed the one that was in the way off.

that was my plan of action just wanted to know if there was another way of doing it over making a custom bracket, i know if i do buy a filter i think you can mount it on the filter

hmmm could be the solution! as its only the far one thats in the way but then how on earth would you get the massive bolt in there?? lol its like a rubix cubeeee grrrr every time i think ive got it something else gets in the way

that is a chadil manifold --not a jenvey
convert engine mtg to countersunk cap screw where it fouls
jenvey manifld --which i desined some years ago does not use dcoe typr bodies but single sf type ones
you have jenveys copy of a wbber dcoe body

I have a feeling this may be sorted now, unless he's been waiting for over 3 years
