How to make my mk1 saxo vtr faster!!

Alrite i have a saxo vtr mk1 ive got a 4branch and full powerflow system on it and i wanna no what else i can do as i want to beat my mates shitty corsa 1.6 sport? ;) so can someone give me some ideas i can make mine abit quicker?

turbo is. Blacky has a very impressive turbo'd 8v!

well i can piss 1.4 sports and sit on standard 1.6s but me mate as a c16xe engine and its got a powerbox/4 branch and everything.

cams, chip and a remap and some breathing mods also a lighnened and ballanced flywheel and a better gearbox vts/ or 1.4 xsi or 1.1 box is better plus a decat if you havent allready got one

I beat a Corsa GSI 1.6 16v and a corsa sport (thought these was 1.4 16v's?) In my 8v.

I have had a corsa c16xe back in the day, They don't feel as quick as the vtr's but don't exactly hammer the vtr around like I did the corsa kind of grown out of it.

They (VTS) do have 20bhp over a MK2 VTR and 30bhp over a MK1 VTR. That means it pisses all over the MK1 VTR and pulls away with ease from the MK2 VTR. Plus gains can be made a lot easier as if you look around this forum countless times people have said the 16v engine is a much better engine for mods. For the cost of the conversion its worth doing.

Turbo/Supercharger would be the only way to majorly increase power but costing a lot more than the 16v engine.

vts not a lot quicker than vtr? are you retarded? Keep it in high revs and you'll dick all over a VTR, With the breathing mods you've got on your vtr (if it's a decent system) you'll shit all over him when you 16v it.

Throttle bodies. Map it all up and you'll piss on most cars.

Sorry but whats wrong with this? Okay the guy said "cams" when its just a single cam 8v unit but everything else is more or less sound advice. He didnt mention oiling his cambelt though haha

The only way you will have a fast as fool vtr is if you get boost , cut tuning have packages ready , or look at the threads on here at the home DIY boost projects

Actually theres 8 cams on a single camshaft not a single cam ;)
