Make one mate it's fairly easy to do if you use the basic bits and doesn't cost loads

That just makes more reason's why not to turbo a 1.4. It's hardly leaving the VTS which I presume is standard?
1k (cheapest) to turbo a 1.4, Not going to be reliable as its cheap kit.
£400 fit a 16v engine, reliable as it's standard.
I know which i'd do!

If your after vts power fit a vts. If your after a fast Saxo then turbo 8v , even faster one turbo 16v.
Putting a turbo kit together is easy and is as follows.
Decompression plate or forged pistons.
Turbo manifold.
Turbo downpipe.
Turbo.
Standalone ecu.
4 x uprated injectors.
Boost pipe/silicone couplings.
Intercooler.
Oil feed
Oil drain including modified sump so the oil can drain back into it.
That's it. And is Decent. Including a remap, I reckon the above your looking 2 grand max. That's all second hand though.turbo mani etc.
