ecu remap is much better.. chips just alter one set of fixed parameters.. like fueling etc.. Whereas remap will set ur ecu to each mod u have.. :)

the so called chips that you buy on ebay for about £3 are just a 10p resistor that goes into your an air sensor. the resistor basically tricks your car into doing things to make it go faster.

that made me laugh lol

Except it doesnt go any faster, it just tries to overfuel and fecks up the lambda cycle and will actually loose you performance and possibly at the cost of an engine

Those 10p resistors are ace, i put one in my first VTR for a laugh, definately felt a difference! A difference in launch and my wallet, it drank like there was no tomorrow!
In the end, was a laugh but i wouldn't waste 10p on it, get 10 10p sweets instead, ull get more pleasure from them!

surely theyre not ace if they drink fuel. ive devised a simple formula:
fuel prices these days + car that drinks fuel = "uh oh"
