saxo turbo's...a worry

hi there, looking to all the people that 200hp+ turbo saxos.

seen a few vids on youtube and im thinking to myself...wow thats mad...one vid a guys turbo kicked in so fast in 1st gear that the rev limiter was active for about 3 seconds before he reacted to change gear?


are they really this mad?

or is he just crap?

The Greeks just use the biggest possible turbo so it will always look/sound faster..nothing-nothing-nothing- bang!!!!

If You spec'd the car properly it will be almost as fast in a straight line buy MUCH faster everywhere else. Big turbos can make for a pretty exciting car but can be very frustrating at times. Also makes 1-2-3and sometimes 4th gear pointless.

i just cant get my head around it...obviously cos im on a vtr with just a induction kit and back box...did u jump from standard to turbo?...that would be great advice

loads of threads on here regarding turbo conversions - search on you tube for AXO, tams old supercharged AX, now that was quick!

I'm AX biased myself, smaller, lighter and people just don't expect them to be fast!
