need the inner wing mount thats welded onto the inner chassis of Saxo Furio/westcoast/VTR/VTS's. They're basically spot welded in, not alot of effort to get off nor is it to weld on.
Edit: although, with it being a 106..It may differ.

you dont NEED to weld it in, you can grind the old one down or use the 1.1 mount

Ahh, looks similar to my 1.1 bay irrc.
You can get away with using that mount, but by using the top part of the 1.1 mount (The thin black arm peice) and bolting it onto the 16v mount, that bolts to the back of the engine.

S1 base uses the same as saxo/s2 its the rally and xsi that differ
I really wouldnt use that mount tbh if peugeot/citroen decided anything over 1.4 needed the bigger mount and peoples tendanc to tune motors youll be putting well over double the torque its designed to take from even a breathed 16v
you could bodge the 1.1 mount but imo if your going to do it do it properly rather than risking it failing

so better off buying one like this

the bit that needs welding is what the part in that link bolts too on the shell
If you look through the hole in my scuttle you can see it in this shot

Youll need to cut one off another shell or possibly 106parts may list them in stock
It will fit the s1 shell as Aron fitted one to his old xsi but that never got finished :(
Ill check on 106parts for you
:edit: no they only have the whole chassis leg listed

No worries just trying to help out
Theres a lot less space in an s1 bay so yu really dont want the engine moving as something will catch wether its inlet on the scuttle or manifold onto the rad which will just break something

yeah may aswell do it properley while the engine bay is clear, as you say it may cause problems later on bodging it

Found a pic of one removed from a car and saved it for my own reference.
