If I wanna fit an oil cooler and relocation... I think I have a 10 row oil cooler kit sorted with the sandwich plate and hoses...

If I buy this kit would it be ok to fit with my cooler kit? And would I be able to fit an oil pressure/temperature sensor to it

Yea thats fine mate but you'd need a bit of hose probably half the length of the one to the oilcooler to then go from the cooler to the filter, then use the hose that did go to the cooler return off the filter to complete the circuit. You also need plug to block the hole where the filter used to be, can't see that in the kit in the link.

Yeah think I worked out how it all goes lol

Like sandwich plate on block, with blanking plug in the end... one pipe coming from the sandwich plate to the relocation block from that link with the filter on it... and then coming off of that to the oil cooler then oil cooler back to the other end of the sandwich plate

And just have pressure/temperature switch in that relocation block?

Yea that's the one mate not sure on the pressure switch mate never bothered to have one on mine, the 16v units have one in the sump anyway don't they

I thought that was temperature and level?

It does say in the eBay listing that there are 2 bits you can run sensors and things from and two blanking screws if you dont use them so should all be fine... Added to my watch list lol

If that's for one plate then that won't work. Unless you have another plate.

You need two plates similar, one that replaces filter on the block, then another to screw the filter on.... Also you need hoses and an oil cooler if you plan on running one. I'd recommend this oil cooler and use push on fittings as the alloy screw fittings are cheap and leak. or to save you all the hassle, buy a mocal oil cooler kit with remote filter. Expensive but top quality.

Oil cooler (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oil-Cooler-Racing-Competition-13-Row-MG-Mini-Peugeot-/370535364491?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5645a0f78b) I'd personally purchase push on fittings for the cooler which he sells

The one in the link mate is where you would relocate your filter on. Think you need the one that screws on the block also. Make sure the fittings are the same thread size to.

Also the two take offs on the top are for senders, I.e temp gauge, and you can use it like me for the oil feed to turbo.

just come on here to say one of the take offs should be used for the turbo after looking at mine before,

I have a 10 row mocal cooler with the engine block plate for the lines and braided lines for sale £60. all you'd needs a plug and a shorter hose

Yea like I said mate I think I have an oil cooler kit sorted which is the cooler, lines and the sandwich plate that goes on the block so I wanted to know if that was the right part I need to fit the filter in a remote location... I know I will need more hoses obviously lol thanks

Ah right yeah I'm with you, yea that part is the the correct part where the filter screws onto which you put where ever you choose.

Usually behind offside headlight. :y: you may also need to get different fittings as there's all kind if sizes out there.
