Its universal mate. Get one thats more designed for a saxo. Plus their claim of 4 - 8 bph from a back box is lauhgable.
They'll tell you anything to make you buy it, People only usually look to gain that sort of horsepower from a Full system (including mani) Maybe a little more or less than 8.
As for volume it would probably be as most exhausts are, louder than standard each to their own tone. I have a custom made one thats deep, where as others are raspy.

I would save up for a better one, just a backbox is a waste of time unless your going to get a centre and/or decat imo.
Get into the for sale sections on here

You want something which is designed for the saxo. Sportex are ok for a budged exhaust but Kam racing do some good ones.

If you want cheap go sportex as they sound awesome on decat. I would go either magnex or saxsport though personally :)

sportex do sound nice but they have no resale value, when you are done with it youll only get pennies. magnex are very nice backboxes but you have to have a cat back. supersprint and kam racing are really good exhaust but they are really raspy so if you dont want a raspy sound thats useless its all down to what you would like at the end of the day.

Err tbh its really loud, sounds like a rally car, pops a gurgles on downchanges etc, but thats because i have a straight through, with cat still on its not that loud, but still sounds good and pops.

Tbh with car stuff in general you just have to take the loss of resale, more expensive boxes only have bigger resale values because you pay more to start with

Im defo keeping my cat on, i want an exhaust but nothing too loud i use to have a powerflow one on my rover which was perfect but i dont want to pay for another powerflow one as there expensive. Magnex how much are they roughly? Ah if i kept my cat and went for a sportex then hopefully would be too loud but dont want to spend no more then £80ish. If anyone got an exhaust for sale ill be interested aslong as it isnt too far away. cheers for the replies and input

The problem with a magnex is they dont connect to the standard pipe as they clamp over the pipe not connect flush, (i dont know if this applyes to all magnex, feel free to correct me if im wrong) so u need a magnex center section.
Ps Theres a back box that looks to me like a Magnex on ebay now, doesnt say it but imsure its a magnex for £40,

ye does look like a magnex
another thing I have with magnex fitting them to 1.1's is that if it is not fitted correctly and cut into the bumper a little I think they look to big.

I see if thats the case then id rather have a sportex, im not too fussed about selling it on as it'll be on there for a while. Rather have a second hand one to cut down on costs tho. But we'll see what happens. Cheers for the heads up about the centre section and thanks for the link will watch this see what happens

dont bother with a sportex or magnex mate? Mij how much roughly is an exhaust from there mate roughly? Im more persuaded to a sportex bb as i want it to fit without cutting into the bumper plus also they are within my budget

If its flat arch youll have to cut into the bumber with allmost all boxes tbh as most are designed for vt's, you can sortof bodge them to fit but you will never get a good seal. I cut mine with a dremel a little bit at a time till it fitted nicely.
