engine problem

hi wonder if anyone can help. i am currently putting a v reg 106 gti engine in my 98 vtr the problem is i cant get the engine to start it will rotate but not tick over anyone no what it could be. i have changed to hole loom to the gti so everything should work... please help

Make sure you have put the fuel feed and the fuel return pipes on the right way round. try swaping them as you might have your feed running into the return nipple.

On Top Of The Gear Box Is A Large Earth Wire If Its Not Conected Properly It Will Stop The

Also There Is A Sensor On Top Of The Gearbox Called The Tdc (top Dead Centre), If Thats Not Connected Correctly It Wont Fire. And Also The Crank Shaft Sensor They Are Easily Damaged If It Is It Wont Fire.
