mk1 head?

Hey guys, I have been offered a mk1 vtr head for free from a mate. My 3 plug vtr is getting boosted (thank the lord tbh) and I need a new head? How easy would it be to put a mk1 head on a mk2?

Easy as long as you have everything with it. Inlet manifold, Injectors/rail, airbox (some fit), breathers. Think the coolant pipes you can make fit and you just use the sensors from your 3 plug head (from memory I had to lengthen my ICV wires). Also use your injector loom from your 3 plug too. Mine ran well enough on the standard ecu but I would recommend a map if its going to stay that way for a while, as the compression ratio will higher (I think) and the cam duration is different. Clearances should be fine and head gaskets are the same.
