Just joined up this morning while looking for some advice about changing my gearbox oil. Found out the drain plug had a square in it but couldn't find the right sized thing in the tool box. After a bit searching round the garage, I found the perfect thing. The rod that goes through the door handle on interior house doors is square and exactly the right size, so one less tool to buy. Just wondered if anyone knew this or if people went and bought the real thing from Citroen.

not all doors are the same, i seen sumat like that in the haynes manual but i had two different sizes, i had the right one tho. you can use a socket aswell on the drain plug, ive bought the square tool from halfords now, it were only a couple of quid.

You can use a socket on the sump plug but not the gearbox ones.
