Hi people im new to this forum,

I am thinking of buying another saxo, it is solid all over just something concerned me with the oil box cover, could anyone else just have a look at this and let me know if i should run away from it,

Looks fine just could do with a good clean up!

Just needs a good clean up or replace it (the cover) if you can't be arsed to clean.

Wouldn't put me off buying it as long as everything is in order and it's not leaking oil etc.

All that matters is that the car drives well. The rocker cover would cost hardly anything to replace.

Rockers commonly rust on them, chassis looks quite clean where they also commonly rust

Check to make sure there is no camber in the rear wheels....i.e that they DONT look like this /...\

Check for rust

Standard head gasket check for mayo etc

Check for oil leaks

Make sure gear changes are fairly smooth, no noises or crunches etc

Make sure mileage tallies up with paperwork
