VTS and V-Power?

Hello, I started running my MK2 VTS on V-Power last week thinking i'd give it a little treat and since then I noticed it was running a bit lumpy and under powered so I filled it up with normal unleaded this week an it runs spot on.. Can someone explain this or is it purely a coincidence?

your ecu has probably "set itself" to the normal fuel

v power has a higher octane, may have been causing detonation and had the ignition knocked back to save damage

USUALLY the opposite way round eg v power cars run shit on normal fuel

your car must be backwards :y:

You would think V Power would make your car run a bit better lol not worse.
