Heya guys! Got an 03 vtr, looking 2 do a lil something 2 it 2 make it run better! I want to replace the airfilter, either a straight panel swap or a decent induction kit. Problem is iv just replacd the cat and middle box as there was a crack in it and the baffels were buggered in the middle box, would I hav 2 change the exaughst first 2 c any change? And would changing the air and fuel filters help mpg? Just wondered! Any other ideas for subtle mods that wont cost the earth? All opinions well!
Thanks
Ry

Iirc you need to cut you center pipe to fit a magnex back box as they are supposed to be fitted with a proper magnex center pipe, my house mate did it, i t was pretty easy, just 1 nice clean cut and the pipe slid in to the back box

Spose with the middle box I could just get a magnex one, doubt theyd be too much ontop of the back box. how much more noise would me leaving the middle box out crate you think?
Definatly going to change the oil filter and air filter too (just makes sense)
Its just a problem of money.I dont have much spare atm so its gradual things or stuff I can do myself (Im lright at hands on stuff, but not got much in the way of tools or talent). A Haynes manual is firt on the shopping list tomra!
Thanks for all the replys guys, really given me something to think about. Any other idea sare always welcome!
