Hi got a quick question? Thinking about buying a 1.1 flatarch 106 or saxo and i'm wanting to drop a 16valver engine in it? Just wondering what the bits are i need to do the full conversion? Do i need new driveshafts and hubs because of the 16v box? Does any of the running gear need changing? Or is it just engine, loom, ecu and key? How would i go about fitting new 16v clocks aswell?

Thanks, SJ

I've tried searching but all that comes up is loads of people's progress blogs and stuff, not sure what to search for exactly so thought it was easier to make a new thread :)

Using the gti box you'll need the gti shafts with associated intermediate bearing on the nearside one. Find an unlocked ECU unless you fancy changing over the transponder ring and immobiliser box. Need more info on the car you have regarding looms but rule of thumb is to stick to an engine from you own car's particular year of manufacture
