Hi

I've got standard 14" alloys on my standard 98 VTR.

What tyre pressure do you use front and rear?

At present its 30psi at the front and 32psi at the back. Seems to handle ok at the moment but would like to know what other people have set theirs to and how it handles.

Its 33 front and 29 back on my standards but its a 1.1 so not sure if its the same as a vtr .. will look in my haynes manual and update you in a bit :)

different to a VTR wheel mate because of the different profiles and widths.

Dont quote me it's been a few months since i had vtr wheels

Front 2.5bar
Back 2.2bar

From Haynes-

1.4 and 1.6 models (furio and vtr)

165/65 R 14 tyres ... 32 front 29 back
185/55 R 14 tyres ... 36 front 32 back
195/45 R 15 tyres ... 33 front 29 back

Hope this helps, any questions PM i still have the book handy untill it goes back in the motor tommorow!

Thanks for all that...i had some new front tyres fitted not sure what psi he put in them. It felt ok but i checked my tyre pressures all round and was n't sure what to put in them. Anyway, the machine i used at the petrol station was on the blink and when I left, I had massive oversteer! I lowered the back and raised the front which made it better but not perfect. I'll try putting the front more than the back and see how we get on!

No problems!
As long as you use the haynes figures and your on standards you cant go wrong tbh

Put the fronts to 36 and backs to 32...think got a little understeer but more testing needed to confirm. I'll try 35. Thanks
