Will a vts alternator fit my westcoast?

The alternator on my westcoast has given up and been offered a vts one for a fiver.

Just wondered if I can use it without any issues?

It will fit yes, connectors may be different so be sure to check.

mk1 and mk2 alternators have different connections, make sure it comes off the same mk as yours,

Looks like its a MK2 and mines a MK1, but he just cut the wires off so they are still attached, is there anything I can do to use it or is it just no good.

If the connector doesnt fit just wire it yourself. One main wire to the engine loom and one small wire to the dash.
