Hi guys, I've got a 3 plug vts, the standard ecu was removed and DTA S40 was fitted when I fitted my last tb'd engine. Everything worked apart from the water temp gauge, well when I say everything worked, was all fine untill sitting idling when all the gauges would freeze and the battery had to be disconnected for a few seconds to reset them. Bit of a pain in the ass. Well I have a new engine almost ready to go in there now and I need to sort this problem out, if I was to change my clocks for vts clocks from a single plug vts would that solve my problem? Would it be a case of changing everything from the multiplug on chassis leg back to the dash?

You would either have to manually wire in the clocks or change the interior loom but that would mean having to manually wire the round plug into the ecu

Unless I just change everything including the engine loom?
