Would a 1.4 or a 1.6 vtr mani fit on a 1.1 as they are all 8 valve 4 cylinders. not sure if that means that they will be the same but i thought it would. I have seen manis on ebay for a 1.4 for £130- £140.
Thanks for any help.

this is asking about custom mani not the bog ones.

Yer all 8v's manis are the same, may have to move the oil filter depending on the year of your saxo.

yer i have got another thread on here to see if it is a 1.1 or a1.4 and the noone really knew, most people saying it was a 1.1. they suggested getting it rolled so i did and got 69.4 or smting like that so i am still not sure as 1.1 are 60bhp new and i think the 1.4 are 70 bhp. it a 1.1 on the log book. anyway i was wondering if i could just put a mani on it as the cat converter is there so it should put the power up a lil bit. will just have to change it back for the MOT.

Hmm does seem a bit strange as 1.4 engines are 75 as standard. But yeah all manifolds for 8v fit all 8v models iirc. Make sure its for a mk2 though or you'll have to relocate the oil filter

Get a magnet and see if it sticks to the top of the engine, if it does its 1.4 if not 1.1.
