Right my m8 has a set of fast road cams for a vts and I would like to no if one of them will fit a vtr ??

because its early in the day im bored and anybodyvwith the slightest engine knowledge would know that wont work for shit

even if it did fit in the head (it wont btw) the lobes would open both inlet and exhaust valves at the same time

VTS is twin cam with a 16v head, one side opens the 8 inlet valves, 2 per cylinder, the other cam opens the exhaust.
VTR is a single cam with 8v head, one cam that opens both inlet and exhaust valves.
consequently the cams from a VTS are very different to the cam in a VTR.

though im not sure, you may be able to fit a VTS 16v head on the 8v block.

It is possible but I wouldn't recommend doing it though when its easier to just ft a vts engine
