Changed the engine loom over as it was cut and re-connected in a few places. But when I got the new engine loom in the car it didn't start, it turns over but doesn't fire up. So then changed back to the original engine loom, but still no luck. Turns over still but wont start. I've noticed that you can't here the fuel pump either.
But if you press the fuel cut off switch in the engine bay then try starting, the car will start for 5 seconds, then stop and carry on turning over.
Car was running fine before on the original loom as well.
Now I'm lost on why it won't start. Don't know what I could of done when changing the looms over.
Its on a Saxo VTS 51 plate 3 plug ECU.

Make sure all the pugs are clicked into place.
When I did my H/G I didn't connect the plug on the back of the injector rail properly and it wasn't priming or firing up.
If that fails, check if it's actually getting fuel or spark.

What wires were missing or cut before? Did the engine run ok before on the old loom before changing the loom?

Which parts of the loom were cut up before and why was it cut up? You had this problem before and it was just an earth behind the light remember?

Haven't un-done any earths. Lamba sensor was cut and re-connect, and the water temp plugs and few other ones can't remember now. Don't know why they were cut thats just how they was.

Is the fuel cut off switch pointing fully upright, or us it on an angle?

Just drive it around while holding the key all the way round.
