hi there well i have a spare vts engine and gearbox from a previous car i am wanting to move into my furio but upon closer inspection ive notised one of the levers on the outside of the box has snapped might be the clutch.
if your looking into your bay look down the gap between the engine and battery and its near the gearbox oil fill up slot. what i want to know is does this come off ? if so how?
also ive found something else snapped on the back of the block. if your looking at the engine from the rear straight on its to the right of the block and near the bottom. it looks like a inlet similar to mani or throttle body its snapped . does anyone know what it is , im just wanting to rebuild this engine to get my head around it for now

You got pictures? if its the clutch arm its pretty easy to swap you just need to split the box from the engine there is a clip or 2 and it comes out

sounds like coolant pipe of sorts that has snapped on the block, not hard if the blocks out of the engine. as for gearbox, sounds like clutch arm and if you can get box off its easy. btw, its not the oil filler there, its the breather. Filler is on pass. Side of gearbox :p

yer i think it definetly is the clutch arm like you say. the gearbox is in my shed so removing gearbox is not a problem. do you think i could use the clutch arm from my furio box and put in vts box
thanks for the replies btw much appreciated

Certainly can. All MA boxes are interchangeable
