Does anybody rate the Fast Road Cat Cams?
Im stuck between Cat or Newman Ph2 or Ph3 cams?
Whos has what and what power will they give me?
I got a 1.4 Furio with a C2 VTS Engine 32,000 Miles
Approx running 130 bhp with Filter and Exhaust, Now looking for something with a kick ;)
Will also be getting re-mapped after the cams

If you've got a C2 Vts engine in there then you want cams specific for the tu5jp4 engine. KamRacing sell them.
In answer to your question there's not a lot in all the 'fast road' cams, theyre all pretty similar and produce the same output ish. Catcams 705's and Newmans PH3's would benefit from a remap but it's not essential.

Yeahh thats where i been looking and im unsure which cams would give more power/ performance, and i heard somewhere that GTi/VTS cams fit into c2 engines, and are smaller and give more power ??

That depends on if you actually have a JP4S (C2 VTS) engine or just a normal JP4. J4 cams are better than JP4 cams but not better than the JP4S.

If you saw it removed from the C2 VTS then its a JP4S. If not its probably just a normal JP4 which are fitted in C2's, C3's 206, 207 etc, all pug/cit 1.6 16v cars.
Nearly everyone claims to have a 'C2 VTS conversion' or sells them as a ' C2 VTS engine' but 9 times out of 10 its just a JP4.

Easiest way to tell is if you have a metal inlet manifold over the black plastic one.

Not really as they are always removed.
