Should be higher than that, even if you are heavy footed.

What calculations are you using to get 30mpg?

my old furio could manage 50mpg on the motorway and about 45mpg random drives

no lieing here just don't drive like a cock and foot down all over the place average tank on the vtr is arounf 370/380 for me, if I do back to being a pikey and doing £10 a time then I can easilt get anywhere from 70-90 miles on it depending how much the right foot gets used.

I am easily averaging high 30s low 40s mpg wise, I think Adsayer reguarly gets 40mpg+ from his vts

I averged at 43mpg over 2 years in my furio

400 miles per tank
Fill up roughly equates to £50 - there or thereabouts!

You're clearly thrashing the left plum off of it to get 30mpg to a tenner
Which I assume you mean, 30 miles for £10 worth of fuel
Or did you convert the milage done to gallons?

i get 400 until fuel light then can run 60 on fuel light.
averge about 50mpg on good drives, 40mpg on a town tank

120-130 miles off £20.00 on my VTR, not too bad considering my old 1.1 106 managed 140miles off £20.00.

30miles to 10quid worth of petrol :(

On a 1.4 ? :homme:
My cammed 16v does 50-60 to £10 if i drive it easy.

im getting about the same in mine!!

£20 is 100 miles almost always, and thats not even with smashing it everywhere.

full service except fuel filter in past 6 months, i honestly think it's a shagged lambda, need to get my arse in gear and buy a new one asap.

engine mods on mine are full super sprint straight through, raceland 421, piper-x air filter and vtr inlet.

guess these don't help, but still for a 1.4 it's unbelievably uneconomical !!!

Definatly, i get 150+ depending on how i drive, for £20

I did 245 on 30pounds at 130p a ltr. More than happy with a eBay air filter (open) and a power flow straight through.

I get about 35 in my VTR. I change about 3,500rpm, often do 100 on way to work etc, don't thrash about town though change around 3,500rpm. Have got around 45 changing at 2,500rpm etc.
