Anyone has tried this tool to remove the valve springs or anything?Cause i will propably buy a jp4 head in a sort while and want to transfer the retainers, springs etc from my j4 head. Here's a link to it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lisle-36200-Magnetic-Valve-Keeper-Remover-Installer-/140430444152?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item20b24e8678#ht_1819wt_905 and a video of it Valve spring compressor remover tool demonstration - YouTube . Seems pretty easy and fast but dont know if it would work on a saxo head well, so thought i'd ask if anyone has used it.

What the?.......Either I'm a complete weakling when I took my valves out using the big C clamp or his springs were soft as hell...

No way in hell could I compress the springs by hand like that.

I was thinking this when I watched it

I bet theyre not cheap

Thing with the G clamps is that it's all about transferring the weight, if you haven't tapped the valve cap to release the collets, and you don't adjust the clamp correctly, its a he'll of a lot harder then it needs to be lol

Got one at work for LS and GS valve spring recalls. Very good and effective tool
