i have been told from pm that it about right if you can twist the belt roughly 90degrees is this correct? looks like i'll have to go out and buy a haynes unless someone else can confirm the tightness cheers

in the haynes manual for a dohc is says a tensioning tool should be used . it also says it should be possible to twist the belt through 90 degrees by finger and thumb, midway between the crankshaft and camshaft sprockets. if thats any help, let me know cuz haynes manual at hand 4 you.
