16v Coolant average temp

So I bought a vts, and while it was sitting idling the needle was up at about 3/4 until the fan kicked in. Is this normal for a vts? I'm used to seeing my vtr sitting just above the middle when the fan come on.

Pretty sure that's normal.

My 16v run's at the same temp as my 8v did.. Take's the 16v longer to reach proper temp if anything.

Sit's abit under half when fully warm - Only goe's over half if in stop start traffic, even then it's only just over half, then I switch the fan on.

when my conversion was done it always sat around 3/4, but my rad was a bit worse for wear, got a new rad and after that always sits just below half

depends on the radiator used and what thermostat used (eg 91degree opening or 88degree etc)

also depends on if its been fully bleed or not

That sounds a little hot to me, I'd bleed that out again if I was you :)

Mine sits half, sometimes a tiny bit under half.

Think I might give it a bleed. It will sit at half when driving, just the fan doesn't come on until about 3/4.
