Been done on loads of bikes, same advantages as a car really, a lot easier to do though most of the time. A few of my mates have wrapped their 450 enduro turned supermoto header pipes as they get grotty from the lanes and it literally will not come off in the end, so they wrapped it to make it look better.

I put it on my old 125 just to tidy it up. But then I chopped the can off so my exhaust system was comprising of the downpipe on it's own. Wrapped in black wrap with a chrome tip on, sounded mental!
