Just wondered what RPM your VTR's do at 70mph, I have VTR wheels fitted with 185 55 14 tires and I get 3200rpm which seems high to me? Always find myself looking for another gear! So wondered if perhaps its got the wrong box on it ie maybe a 1.4 box with closer ratio's (i'm not up on french boxes yet).
Thanks :)

In 5th gear? What you said, around 3200-3500 or so. Mine's stock, no performance mods at all. VTR standard wheels are 14 inch anyway... So don't see why that would effect revs.

All sounds about right then. Only said about wheel size as it does make a small difference.
Well that sucks. Drinks fuel at 70 :\
It shouldnt drink fuel if your maintaining 70 on a motorway..

Best sig ever. edit - your sig, not that quote as a sig lol
x2 on the fuel
my 16v with 1.1 box got 42mpg when I drove to land's end - that sit's at 3.5k @ 70mph. No lambda's / fuel return :y:
