MPi will be slightly more fuel efficient as a rule of thumb, but unless you are upgrading the engine to a better specification unit its really not worth all the effort, especially on 1.1. Spend the money on decent brakes, suspension and tyres/wheels

Ok well looking at the car I think id like to drop the front by about 20mm and the back by about ten can I do that with just springs abd the arb adjustment??

If you wanted to do it you will need 1.1 mpi inlet, loom and unlocked ecu that should be it. When I had my mpi it would keep up with 1.4 as all I did was strip it, big brakes and front and good suspension and tyres, was awesome.
