im am most likely going to be purchasing one of these of a member off here this week and wanted to know could i bolt this straight on and use it on my single plug 1.4 engine? cheers

You might need to drill and tap a adapter into the inlet for the ICV as it won't idle well using the S1 idle valve. And the throttle position sensor wires might need swapping as the butterfly opens the opposite way etc.

it is not a spi engine mate, its a 1.4 furio engine!

You'll need to make some kind of fitting in the inlet for it.
I butchered an old inlet like so
Finally got round to finishing off the inlet
Drilled a big hole and drilled and tapped a little hole. Very tight fit, just needs a bit of sealant and some ptfe on the bolt

Won't fit a 3 plug furio head, only single plug furio

ive got a single plug furio :) would i need to modify it like above? what did you use to modify it to fit!
