Enclosed induction is when there is a filter within an enclosed conmpartment. For instance the bmc is made out of carbon fibre. The idea is to keep hot air out.You have a cold air feed that is positioned where you like usually where cold air can be recieved at the front of the car and goes through the tubing into the filter. The other end of the filter has tubing that goes to the inlet manifold. The whole idea of them is that the air intake into the engine is as cold as possible as it is more dense than hot air and can give you more power. If you want power lose the K n N bud and get a performance enclosed one. Next step is cams, and things like that but depends how deep your pockets go. Could strip the rear aswell.
