Is this possible? I dont know what size the engine is in comparison to a SAXO VTS?

Opinoins?

I'm thinking MK1 Shell with a fairly new C2 engine, and everything else to go with it.

One of my mates dads wrote off his C2 but its all rear end damage, and his keeping the car for salvage.. soooooo :fcuk: :fcuk:

You can use the head on an a VTS engine as ratty did.

In regards to the conversion I think to make life easier you'd need to take the complete wiring loom.

I dont know what you do in regards to gearboxes?

There a lad on SSC with one though so search there perhaps....

would need saxo vtsecu or standalone ecu. C2 ecu would have a fit trying to backwards connect as its a BSI unit

if you use the head you need the pistons rebated to suit the c2 head and saxo bottom end, will also need the saxo inblet and tb tapped to suit the head. then the cams are a pain to. sfalcus on sscs c2 saxo never works lol

but sfalcus on ssc has had problems regardless of the c2 block, but its never failed since i rebuilt it.

thats because you did it properly. unlike the time he had the lifter break

and apparently its gone bad again after carworx, must be oil getting too hot as it was spot on when i did it then went tappy, and carworx re-done it (oil change as i dont ahve the time!) and was spot on and now tappy again.

p.s. this isnt what happens with all C2 engines just Steve has been very unlucky (And he drives like a spaz)

yes steves car is royally screwed all the time...

but would the fact he has changed the cams also not cause the probs, as that was the prob before.

shouldnt as 708s work fine on saxo lumps, still thinking oil related as his head was always mega hot
