I'm doing a 16V throttle body setup.
I'm stuck on which option is best for better air flow being that the intake is at the back.
Option 1: scuttle tray modification
Option 2: plenum with ram air setup
Option 3: open with filter

Option 1 it's all about engine movement, and wiper motor, so I've been thinking of making an air box and using a rubber gasket so it will respond to movement and using a panel filter with some form of air scoop, and looking at moving the wiper motor and working that out

Option 2 there's lots of plenums out there but my god are they daylight robbery
So I was planning on bying some carbon sheet and cutting and glueing together to make the air box and with a ram air induction, issue here is space and size and air boxes tend to feed different air flows over trumpets

Option 3 same old same old I just think there is too much heat an lack of air space, so again modify scuttle tray to allow cooler more responsive air flow

Not had much experience with throttle body setups unless I've turbo charged them where I'm more confident on making a plenum for them instead, but N/A airflow and dynamics is totally different to Forced Induction

Chip in guys :)

Can fit a lhd wiper setup to gain more room behind the scuttle for option 1. Search french or german ebay :)

Dont bother moving the wiper motor, just switch to a LHD wiper set up.

You wont need to worry too much about the scuttle if you are not running a really long inlet tract, quite alot of the set ups require no scuttle cutting.

Anyway.. How you doing? Long time no speak ;)

I'll point out I'm using 90mm trumpets to keep more mid range torque which again reduce room again why I'm looking at opening the scuttle tray and using the pressure zone at the bonet lip windscreen base
