hey guys , Basically when i start my car when its cold for the first few minutes there is a slight whining noise in the engine bay sounds like it is down where the radiator hose connects to the engine , its been doing this for a while now and its doing my head in ,anyone know what this could be ?? Thanks in advance

I have a similar thing on mine once its been run for around 2 mins its absolutly fine, i got mine looked at and couldnt find anything which is odd cos im sure its not meant to mine isnt that bad though.

Sometimes they can whine if the cambelt is to tight

Yeah tomo mine goes after about 2 mins aswell , it's doing my head in now though .and no Sam don't think it's the cambelt because I have just had mine changed days ago and it done it before I had it changed aswell

mine sometimes does it but my clutch release bearing is going?

Alternator.
Mine does it when it first been started.. was stood awhile, so must just need 'warming' up lol.
