well i just bought the centre pipe and if thats anything to go by i;d look elsewhere. its crap steel very poorly made compared to a supersprint centre pipe. and so i was told these are rebranded sportex systems

£85 for a good quality 'race centre'.
or for a extra £33, you can get a shitty made straight through + a ugly most likely shitty sounding backbox.
I'd be buying the supersprint.. then buy any backbox you like with the £33.

My supersprint snapped in half your looking at the wrong hoffman there are two types the other type is thicker and better made as its a race exhaust not a oem replacement.
Comparing my supersprint c/s with the hoffman, the hoffman had better welds and looks slightly thicker.
So i wouldn't say supersprint are good quality for the c/s unless its stainless steel. If they were good quality they would last over 2 years i know the oem exhausts lasted 8 years on the car fine. In terms of backbox supersprint or piper.
This is the race version for the saxo

Said before, i nearly bought one but passed and bought a new supersprint section.
The second hand one snapped but tbh i had no idea how old it was. Once this goes (im hoping for at least 2/3yrs? il go stainless.

It should last longer really, mine lasted 3 years. If a standard oem exhaust can last 7 years why cannot the supersprint do this after all its alot more $$.

A standard Citroen exhaust isn't much less than a supersprint. A cheap exhaust from euro car parts isn't standard.

It probably can, but it depends on what condition the car is. Things like worn exhaust mounts, worn engine mounts, Type of driving and forces acting on the system, short or long journeys, weather conditions, where its stored etc etc all have an effect on exhaust life.
