Hi I'm new to this so please bear with Me,
I currently have a vtr 2003,but a huge problem has happened.
The other day I was cleaning my throttle body, icv, tps etc.put all back together

Ran fine, then 20 mins later.I was driving along stopped at some lights and the revs just crept up to 3000k and sat there.so I turned it off and it was fine.drove ok but if
I gave it some throttle I would go into cruise control and hold the revs.

Tried resetting the Ecuador.didn't work but it only does it when warm or if I put my
Foot down. Need a huge ho I'd this the tps or coolant temp I no it's not the icv because it's only 3 months old..just didn't get didn't get the time to clean it when I brought it.

.please help or shed some light I'm puzzled and need to know whats up or which part to order? ? Thanks for taking your time to read this any input would be great!

my leon cupra did this, it was the Coolant temp sensor not reading the rigth temperature and causing the car to over fuel.

from what I understand turn it to second ignition 5 times, so second ignition, off, second ignition etc.

Try it 7 or so time and see how it goes from there
