Hello!

I got this oil for free --> Motul 300V Competition 15W50 Double Ester:

I know the Motul and the ester stuff from my motocross-bikes, but I've no idea if its the right oil for my slightly tuned 16V (Airbox, Raceland mani, 200 cells cat, group a exhaust).

A friend told me, that I'll lose power (and will feel it) with the 15W50 instead of 10W40. I can't imagine that..... but is that true?

My 106 is only driven on warm summer-days, has (and will) never seen rain or snow! I wanted to pour the oil in the car, but now I'm not sure about it.

Should I go for it?

Greetings from Austria

Your friend is talking shite. That oil will be fine - your engine will enjoy it, especially in the warmer Austria!
