engine mounts are always a good thing

i personally have a vibratechnics top engine mount, powerflex bottom gear box mount, and a b&m top gear box mount

Yes they are good. Huge overkill for a road car however. Why are you changing yours? Perhaps something is better suited?

well i did post up some for £149... lol

the oem soft mounts are built for comfort to reduce vibrations in the cabin but it also means there is a lot of flex in the transmission area which results in sloppy acceleration, hard engine mounts will obviosuly make the car vibrate more but it also reduces flex so the power gets transmitted to the wheels more efficiently, as there is less movement it also reduces wear on suspension bushes/exhaust joins etc but the harder the mount the quicker they will usually fail as the movement is still there but the hard mounts haeva hard time to hold on to all that movement/vibrations

the more expensive ones are usually harder than the cheaper ones, but on a road car you may not want really hard mounts, you can buy fully solid mounts which obviosuly could make the car unbarable to drive on the road everyday
