Which 1.4 is it? If it's an XSi then it won't fit as they use bigger bearings. Imagine the other 8v's would fit but never had much to do with them so not 100%. However, the power increase would be minimal if any increase at all, so pointless in my opinion.

I have an engine from a vtr 1.4, would like to know if any cam would fit to improve performance other than a new race cam.

Vtr 1.4? Eyyyy?

I thought all 8 v cams were the interchangeable.

Is ther any difference in lift/duration that would increase performance?

VTR 1.4 will be a european specification. The only OEM cam swap I could imagine being viable is a rallye/xsi full head swap as its got a J or Z cam fitted which is about 270 degree duration. You wont be able to put this in your head however as it uses different sized bearings. However what I cant tell you is if the valves will fit the inside bore or whether the pistons will hit the valves due to the stroke of the 1.0l unit.

They don't fit apparently.
