Just wonderd if anyone would be intrested in these, ive had them made up for myself as i keep getting play in the original bushes at the bottom of the gear lever. Ive fit them and they make quite a difference in left/right movement, there made from ali so didnt cost too much. Yay or nay?

But if you dont want a quickshift you're left with something to faff on selling :/

And these are probably around £5, saving £25, and keep the OEM look if yoiu want that.

meh i see what your saying but if your doing half the job anyway and are on a search to stiffen up the shift. then a quickshift will do a far better job than some bushes.
i can see the need for these if your running the standard stick in a compbrake housing as then youve eliminated all the slop cabin end. but if your just doing the bushes on there own dont be supprised if all the slop is still there.

agreed if your only fixing a fault these are perfect but if your expecting an enhancment then i stand by what ive said

This is a good replacement for a part that wears easily!
Quickshifts are a waste of money now days 'cause everyone knows you should have got a satchshift ;-)

exactly this. If you are doing a "proper job" then get a satchshift.
This is just another option for people - not sure why the negativity.

Should have done it Azz, price up the quick shifts and decent adjustable linkages and you're probably close to half of a satchshift anyway :)

wasnt trying to be negative dude, id be a bit of a prick to jump on your forum and start gobbing off. maybe in text is dosnt come across how i wanted it to. im just saying if your replacing them as yours are sloppy then yes there a great idea but i thought they were being sold as a performence upgrade aswell so i pointed out with a quickshift you get this mod included :)

I understand - I think me (and others!) took your post to be a bit negative - easily done on forums as you say :)
The OP has just had these made up for himself, and is getting opinions from others if they want some too. I don't think he's venturing into Dragons Den just yet :p

true true just re read the op's post and mine and yeah i think i misunderstood the idea and jumped to my own conclusion, if i removed the no brainer part it would look much nicer haha
yes they are a great idea for reducing play on a standard stick for a very friendly price if they are around £5 but id still get a quickshift then regret not getting a satchshift but thats just me :p

I do have a quick shift (comp brake with standard stick)
These arnt so much a performance upgrade rather a preventative measure as i found i was wearing through the nylon bushes after around 7-8 months.

I would be intrested Tom, i got Kamracing linkages and Baker quickshift and still have some play so these may firm it up better. Depending on price of corse :y:
