Ok firstly I'm sorry if this I a repeat of a former question but after looking around on here I'm still slightly confused with the 3 plug/1 plug ECU and their problems.

I have the opportunity to get a VTS engine with all ancillaries, gearbox, loom, transponder, ECU, radiator, fans etc etc etc. The only issue I have is that the VTS engine is a 1 plug ecu and my current VTR is a 3 plug ecu. I have read many threads about this being a problem but don't quite get why if I am putting in the new engine with the paired ECU? Is the problem relating to the other looms such as the ones for the dash?

If someone could clear this up for me it would be a great help!

Thanks in advance :y:

The 3 plug loom has a bigger connection than the single plug loom so it won't plug into the interior loom

More engine searching it is then.
Cheers for the help mate.

You can either rewire it to suit or swap most of the sensors loom + ecu to 3 plug vts stuff. to get it working.
