You can't just download a program to remap a standard ecu (or else everyone would do it :))
Speak to Wayne at chip wizards and ask him what software he uses. If he tells you, let us know :p
(not trying to be harsh, just letting you know!)

Why do peoples mates always remap cars... I understand that if one of my mates was talking and said my mate maps cars theyd probably get the same treatment... But i do as part of my job... I wont map anyone elses as i cba with the hastle if anything were to fail (my fault or not) but a manufacturers ecu is encrypted with their code, usually in hex, and its not like a hackable password its a complete programme... If your gonna map go aftermarket ecu and get someone that knows what their doing todo it...

I have a mate and he went to his mum's boyfriend for a remap on his audi a3 s-line 3 month old with 10k on the clock. Mapping software downloaded from pirate bay gave it 100000000Bhp until it fucked the engine big time and cost him over 3k to fix it.
If mapping was that easy everyone would be doing it. It's a cross between science and art that's why decent mappers are always busy and there names are spread by word of mouth.

Exactly the above. Reading PPC recently, theres a chap who works at Emerald and hes been learning how to map an engine for 5 years or something and Dave Walker only just let him near a customers car to do it on his own
