Hiya, i have bought these below in black from GMC months ago now. They are not getting fitted until February but I'm buying a few parts now so i'm ready. Will this sausage filter in the 2nd picture be a direct fit? If so i will purchase now from eBay.

the main problem will be wether it clears the brake bar on the bulkhead
at powers have a rather low aim and dont leave much clearance to it

More importantly make sure the filter has sufficient clearance from the trumpet mouth to the inside of the filter. Ideally 25mm
Otherwise this will sap power.
Aslongs as you go for a domed filter you will have enough clearance from the balance bar.
Dont forget you will need a backing plate to go with the filter complete with the right spacing and right sized holes.
Pretty sure GMC sell a complete filter/plate for these bodies.

Back plate fitting will be wrong, best to discuss options with GMC.

Thanks for the replies people. As i was a little unsure, I waited until today to phone John at GMC and although he had none on the shelf, I've paid and hes sorting me out with what i need. Price is £125 +VAT which is slightly more than what i was looking at here but at least i will have the confidence in knowing it will all fit together properly in a few months :y:
